How this website handles information.

The short version

This website collects as little as possible. It does not use advertising trackers. It does not sell information. Forms send what you type to HxDF so that a person can reply to you, and nothing else.

What the site collects

Information you give us

When you submit a form, the site sends the fields you filled in (for example your name, email, organization, and message) to HxDF’s form delivery service so that we can respond. Forms for students ask a student who is 13 or older for a parent or guardian’s contact so that a parent is included in any next step. We do not ask children under 13 to submit forms.

Information collected automatically

The site is hosted on infrastructure that keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability. HxDF does not currently run analytics or advertising scripts on this site. If privacy respecting analytics are added, this notice will say so.

Cookies

The site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. Any cookie the hosting platform sets is used for basic operation only.

How information is used

• To reply to your inquiry and, if you asked, to tell you when a program, role, or session opens.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.
• To meet legal obligations.

HxDF does not sell personal information and does not share it with any company for marketing.

Who can see it

HxDF staff and, where relevant, volunteers who need it to respond. Service providers that deliver forms or host the site process information on HxDF’s behalf under their own terms. If HxDF operates under a fiscal sponsor, the sponsor may have access as required to administer the project.

How long it is kept

Inquiry information is kept as long as needed to respond and to follow up on what you asked about, then deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

You can ask what information HxDF holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw an interest you submitted. Use the contact form and choose Privacy request, or email hello@hxdf.org.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and HxDF does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. Program enrollment for minors is handled with a parent or guardian. Future student facing products will have their own privacy design, reviewed independently before launch.

Changes

When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
